Equestrian facilities

Northern A&P’s top-quality equestrian facilities are enjoyed by riders throughout the region and are the home of the Rangiora Pony Club. We have a brand new surface of rubber on our All Weather Arena, a great Cross-country course and expansive grounds which can be booked by individuals or groups. A variety of competitions and events are held at the grounds each year, including dressage, showjumping and polo competitions – plus the annual Rangiora A&P Show.

 

Make a booking

Groups and individuals can book our re-surfaced all-weather arena, cross-country course, or just an area of the grounds to ride in. Half yearly memberships are available (pay 6 monthly) and casual visitors are welcome. You can check the availability of the grounds, and book and pay online using our booking calendar. The gate access code will be provided upon receipt of your booking and full payment.

Please note that our equestrian facilities are pre-booked by the Rangiora Pony Club on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month, and on the 3rd Sunday of every month for Dressage. During the summer months Polo hold Chukkas on a Wednesday night from 4pm and regular weekend Polo Tournaments - please check the calendar.

PLEASE NOTE:

Muzi Pottinger Clinics - Sarah Robotham - AWA Clinic - Fri 1st 9am - 12pm then 2.30pm - 3.15pm. Sat & Sun - X-Country.

There is room for others to use X-Country but please be aware of the Clinic.

PLEASE PICK UP YOUR HORSE POO ON LEAVING - THERE IS A CONCRETE BUNKER AVAILABLE BY THE YARDS.

PLEASE make sure you check the AVAILABILITY CALENDAR below prior to booking casual hire of the equestrian facilities. Riders are also required to familiarise themselves with the terms and conditions of hire.

 

 
 
 
 

Costs

All-weather arena – $11 per session,

Cross-country course – $21 per session

Half yearly membership – $62 per half year membership (January-June & July - December).

All users are required to sign this Registration and Health and Safety Form before their first use of the grounds each year.
